Terms of Service

Last updated July 17, 2026.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Pingwire, you agree to these terms. If you operate your own Pingwire instance, you are responsible for its use and for the terms you present to your own users.

2. Acceptable use

Do not use Pingwire to send spam, unlawful content, or malware; to harass others; or to attempt to disrupt the service or its infrastructure. Respect rate limits and do not attempt to bypass authentication or scopes.

3. Accounts & security

You are responsible for safeguarding your password, API keys, and webhook tokens. Notify the operator promptly of any unauthorized use. Keys and tokens are secrets — treat them accordingly.

4. API & rate limits

The API is provided as-is and may enforce rate limits (currently 120 sends/min per key, 60 webhook posts/min per token). Limits may change to protect service stability.

5. Availability

Pingwire is provided without warranty of uninterrupted availability. For self-hosted deployments, reliability depends on your own infrastructure.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pingwire and its operators are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

7. Changes

These terms may be updated. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
